Shataia Marie | Author, Minister & Visionary
Shataia Marie is a Navy veteran, author, ordained minister, and visionary founder of Shataia Marie Global and Wise Women Build. With a heart for the lost, a passion for discipleship, and a commitment to helping women grow in Christ, she uses her voice, testimony, and teachings to point others toward the transforming power of the Gospel.
Her journey has included homelessness, financial hardship, and the pain of domestic abuse. Yet, through seasons of brokenness, surrender, and restoration, Shataia discovered that God can redeem what life has tried to destroy and use our most difficult experiences for His glory. Her testimony is not simply a story of survival; it is a reflection of God’s faithfulness and a reminder that our past does not have to define our future.
That journey inspired her debut book, This Isn’t What I Signed Up For, a raw and redemptive exploration of the challenges of obedience, healing, and spiritual growth. Through her writing, biblical teaching, mentorship, and leadership initiatives, Shataia helps women confront difficult truths, deepen their relationship with Christ, and grow into spiritual maturity.
Her heart is to reach women who are searching for more, those who have wandered from God, and those who desire to grow but need guidance, community, and practical support. She believes in meeting people where they are, seeing beyond their struggles, and pointing them toward the One who transforms lives.
Her assignment is bigger than inspiration. It is about pointing people to Jesus, making disciples, and equipping women to live out their faith, serve others, and build legacies that honor God.

Shataia Marie Global is a Christ-centered platform committed to reaching the lost, cultivating spiritual growth, and equipping women to live out their faith with wisdom, purpose, and intention.
Founded by author and minister Shataia Marie, our work is rooted in the call to make disciples, teach biblical truth, and reflect the heart of Christ by seeing needs and responding with compassion. We meet women where they are through Christ-centered teaching, practical resources, mentorship, and community that supports both spiritual growth and everyday needs.
Through initiatives such as Wise Women Build, GraceWorks by Shataia Marie, and our teaching, publishing, and media resources, we create opportunities for women to deepen their relationship with Christ, strengthen their homes, support one another’s God-given assignments, and connect with resources that promote healing, stability, and growth.
We believe the love of Christ must be demonstrated in both word and action. That means sharing the Gospel, walking alongside those who are searching, equipping believers through discipleship, and working together to meet practical needs in our communities.

We are committed to reaching the lost, nurturing the spiritually hungry, and meeting real-life needs by connecting women with resources, strengthening homes, supporting one another’s God-given assignments, and creating pathways to healing and wholeness.

Our Vision
We envision a global sisterhood of women reflecting the heart of Christ by seeing the need, meeting practical needs with compassion, and connecting women and families to resources that foster stability, healing, and success. Together, we sow into one another’s ministries and movements, serve the vulnerable, build safe havens, promote financial literacy, and cultivate wholeness. Through Christ-centered love and collective action, we are building legacies that transform generations.
Sisterhood Statement
Rooted in Titus 2:3–5, our sisterhood is a Christ-centered community where women pour into one another, share their gifts, and sow into each other’s God-given assignments. We see the need, respond with compassion, and walk alongside women through life’s challenges by connecting them with spiritual guidance, practical support, and resources for growth and stability.
Together, we nurture healing, cultivate wholeness, strengthen families, and build a sisterhood that reflects the love of Christ—one woman, one family, and one generation at a time.
